FROM THE DESK OF THE ADMINISTRATOR I would first like to say, thank god the weather has started to change to the new season. I would like to welcome all of our new members. There has been some changes made in the Social quarters, the floors were stripped and waxed and they look very good. The calendar is filled with many things for all. There are many functions planned and in the planning stages for the coming year, we hope to see all for the functions. There is a “Moose Mail” please use this for suggestions, I would like to see comments (Positive and/or Negative) If you don’t tell the Board of Officers then we can not address it, all comments will be discussed at the Officers/House committee meeting following its receipt, and a response will be given to the person who’s making the suggestion. Please tell your friends and neighbors about the moose and ask them to join. I would like to thank Willie Jolly for his continuing Tuesday Night dinners. Please try to attend the regular membership meetings LOOM & WOTM, your opinions count and we want you to be herd! Please remember the Social Quarters is run as a business and the functions are the fraternal part of the Lodge. There are many rules that have to be obeyed by both Members and also the employees, Business is Business, and Friendship is Friendship. Sometime things have to be done in business that makes some mad but remember its always in the lodge’s best interest. New Administration to be elected in April, forms for office are on the bulletin board. Offices to be filled are Governor, Junior Governor, Prelate, Treasurer, Three (3) year Trustee, (This is a three year position). Roger G. Winn, PhD, PGF Administrator

Notes from the Governor: Once again I write to you the membership. It seems spring might really be around the corner. Over the past year our lodge has shown much improvement because of your participation. I would like to thank those who have been involved behind the scenes. Those who have participated by supporting functions also deserve the same thanks. The lodge has come a long way in the last years, we now have food during the week and try to make sure there is a dinner every friday. The recent bad weather in February was brutal. The lodge couldn’t open a couple of times and most were not able to get out. I do encourage the men and the women to attend meetings as much as possible. Your voice at a meeting is important and the information you can get is correct not leading you astray. Meetings are about business and the social quarters is about pleasure. It has been a pleasure to serve as your governor for the past year and I look forward to working with the next Board of Officers (BOO), as past governor I will gladly help the new governor and Board of Officers. On a last note I am pleased to say that the shrimp feast was such a success that we were able to donate a portion of the proceeds to Center for Abused Persons (CAP). Thank You Eddie Mead, Governor

WOTM notes This is the end of the year for me. We are in DESPERATE need of new officers. As of yet, nobody has stepped up to volunteer and if there are no volunteers the WOTM's Chapter 576 will DISBAND and the members will have to join another Chapter. If anyone is interested please contact one of the present officers. We need to keep the WOTM's going, it doesn't take much. With that said, I would like to thank those who have helped and supported me throughout the year. On April 2nd we are having a fish and brisket dinner along with a bake auction. We are asking for donations of baked goods for this event. There will be a sign-up sheet at the bar. You can call the lodge (301-743-7555) and the bartender will add your name on the sign up sheet for dinner and the baked item you wish to donate. This is a lot of fun so please come out and enjoy GOOD FOOD AND LOTS OF LAUGHS. Check your calenders for all the upcoming events. Hope to see you there. Have a safe and happy summer.
